As urgent always trumps the problem is making sure that you have time for the important (but not urgent). Even if you allocate time, it is hard to get around to the important because there is always something urgent that seems important. In order to get to the important, I make time to get out of the office (away from interruptions, emails etc). It is the most important time I spend on my business.
